Category: XSL Group: output: all formats Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Pierre Attar (pierat) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: java: Extension Chunking with SUN implementation of XALAN Initial Comment: For being able to use XALAN25 norm extensions with the SUN 1.5 JDK, the following needs to be done at import level. Transform : import org.apache.xalan.extensions.ExpressionContext; to import com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.extensions.ExpressionContext; same for import org.apache.xml.utils.DOMBuilder; which becomes import com.sun.org.apache.xml.internal.utils.DOMBuilder; Mainly, com.sun needs to be add on front and after the original apache package, all needs to become under an "internal" package. Pierre Note: I really don't understand why SUN is making this kind of thing that will no more enable to use the endorsing mechanism ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mauritz Jeanson (mzjn) Date: 2007-07-08 19:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=582041 Originator: NO I suggest that this bug is closed (or changed into a feature request). It is unlikely that future DocBook XSL releases will contain extensions specifically targeted for versions of Xalan that are shipped with the Sun JRE. The only supported version is currently Apache Xalan 2.7.0. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Pierre Attar (pierat) Date: 2005-04-04 20:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=689805 If needed, I can provide you the modified files. The configuration needed is rt.jar (from jdk 1.5) in the class path but not any other xalan.jar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Norman Walsh (nwalsh) Date: 2005-04-04 16:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=81663 I'm investigating this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=1117777&group_id=21935 |
