Category: XSL Group: output: print/FO/PDF Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Tavmjong Bah (tavmjong) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: copyright doesn't respect font choice in fo output. Initial Comment: The copyright symbol font-family is set to "serif": <fo:inline font-family="serif">©</fo:inline> even if body.font.family is set to a different font. This results in one reference to Times-Roman on the title page. Uploading the resulting pdf file generated with fop to lulu.com then fails as lulu.com requires that even the basic 14 fonts be embedded. (Forcing the basic fonts to be embedded is another problem...) Work-around is to edit the fo file, changing the font, before running fop. Tested with docbook-xsl-snapshot from Dec. 12, 2006, Using libxml 20627, libxslt 10118 and libexslt 813, fop trunk. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mauritz Jeanson (mzjn) Date: 2006-12-16 10:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=582041 Originator: NO This is not a bug. The dingbat.font.family parameter (not body.font.family) must be used for copyright, quotes, and other symbols. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Tavmjong Bah (tavmjong) Date: 2006-12-14 16:27 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1319991 Originator: YES The trademark tag also generates a reference to Times-Roman. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=1614799&group_id=21935 |
