#333 man: List indentation, add customization support

Items in lists are currently indented by the value
of the INT register. On most systems, that results
in about an 8-character indent before each list
item. Which is ridiculously too wide. So we need
to make the default something like 4 or even 2
characters, then add params to allow users to
customize it to their taste.

A change for this issue has been added to the current codebase.
