Looking at it now as I try to make the DCMS usable for staff3, I'm 
thinking we would have been better off to use a alphanumeric key for 
plugins instead of a number.. it's hard to maintain consistancy when 
adding plugins between multiple sites when the autonum is different.

Thoughts?  Should we look at changing the whole plugin method?
