Hi,
I have noticed that when using maparea options like rect and poly, adding comments works, but the maparea line option does not seem to support comments. Other line options such as coordinates and line colour do work. This is for DjVuLibre for Windows.
Any clarifying information or support is appreciated.

Thanks,

Do you mean djview.exe running under windows (as opposed to the browser plugin made by Lizardtech/Celartem)?

What I can say at this point is that comments in line annotations work in djview under unix and mac.
Test case: the line annotation to the top left corner of the attached file.

I just try this same document with djview under windows 10.
Hovering over the line shows the comment in a transient popup as expected.

    Please provide additional information.
Or should I just close the bug.

      Hi.
I was not initially successful in getting a line comment to appear in my original file. I was using a very short line. I tried your sample annotation document and it works fine in DjView4 in Win7. So I tried to create a different dsed annotation file, again using a line comment, and this time, when integrated into another DjVu file, it worked. I used a much longer line to give more space for the comment to appear. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks again.

      Stephen
