I just found your player, amazing tool, can't believe I haven't stumbled upon it before when looking for a frame accurate player for linux.
One thing I'm missing though is audio playback. Is there a reason audio is not played along with the video?
I would like audio from movie files be played with djv and also a way to attach an audio file to an image sequence.
(For linux-version)
I think it would be a huge improvement of this already awesome player.
I also find audio playing very helpful, mainly to check the lip sync.
I'm throwing a vote in for audio support. DJV would be much more useful to animators with audio. Audio for image sequences would be fantastic, too.
+1 for me
Audio support in movie files (and add an audio track to an image sequence would be awesome!)
+1 from me. DJV is the ideal choice for watching all manners of video in a production environment. With sound, it would be unbeatable. Our studio is still stuck using Quicktime Player 7!
+1 vote for Audio in DJV. The features in this app are great for animation, where we handle many sequences of images every day for review. I found DJV when searching, years ago, for an alternative to Iridas' "FrameCycler" but the lack of audio excludes it from occupying a spot in the pipeline.
I highly second that. Most users have to deal with Video in Conjuction with Audio. At least Stereo and Mono Playback of PCM-, AAC-, Mp3- Tracks would be a huge help.
