It would be nice if the renderer would fall back to software rendering or whatever was used in 0.8.3 so sequences can be viewed over windows remote desktop. 0.8.3 worked fine, but every since it's crashed out when I try to open a sequence without an accelerated display driver.

Sorry for the very late reply! This would require a significant amount of work since the entire DJV graphics pipeline is now based upon OpenGL. Hopefully OpenGL is now supported by remote desktop in 2018? It looks like these links have additonal information:
