Totally frized Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit, 8Gb ROM, i5. Light of HDD is blinking, cannot switch any apps, Only reset helps.
Latest version installed from deb package.

    Wow! I didn't think that was possible; could you send me the full path and file name so I can try and recreate the bug?

    and there images from blender render (jpg or openEXR format)

    I try to set path via open dialog and folder by folder also.

    And one more thing... in this path "/D/" is simlink to
    /media/data/files/ - on other hdd
