sorry for cross-posting, but apparently general is _very_ low traffic ... hi, just installed djatoka and after a little fiddling (the viewer's installation steps weren't that clear) got the viewer up and running, too. that's my fisrt question: i lived under the impression, the viewer would live independently from the server part, ie i could integrate it into my application and access the server part simply via url. instead, the viewer has to be put in the webapp's folder, which makes integration rather cumbersome (iframe). so, did someone manage to separate server an viewer and embed the viewer in a completely different webapp (jboss seam preferred)? second question: is it possible to tweak the viewers javascript to make the zooming steps smaller? one requirement is fully adjustable zoom which in practice means small zoom steps, atm my test picture resizes in 4 steps which is not enough. i guess, it depends at least partially on the number of levels used when creating the jp2 file, but surely the server can generate itermediate formats? (btw: what standalone linux viewers exist, that can display the generated jp2 images?) |
