lng_Num_Troops is defined but never read

Hi all, i report this mainly to get used to the system and because i think this could be related to the ai not building troops to defend its planets.
The Variable lng_Num_Troops is defined in every main script and declared as a global variable in Script_AI_GlobalVariables.txt but never read.
I searched (windows search folder...) the complete code and found no further reference to this variable. If this is not used by the game internally maybe it got lost during ai tweaking.
It doesn't appear under Utilities\ScriptParser either, so maybe it really is just internally used by the game. Anyone have any insights here?
