This release introduces a number of new feature while improving
the integration of existing features. A significant part of this
release is the integration of IMAP folders with Quotient Pools.
This allows for nifty ways of working with Quotient from
and IMAP client. For instance if you use Quotient as your IMAP server,
and drag a message into the 'Spam' folder, Quotient will detect that
and use the filed message for training SpamBayes. Or you can drag
a message into the 'Blog' folder and it will show up on your
Quotient blog.... read more

- STUN server
- Numerous tweaks and fixes
This release continues to round out our webmail capabilities while
continuing to refine the infrastructural pieces that we introduced
in 0.7.0. Many of the UI features introduced in this feature were
enabled by FreeForm a for engine that works in concert with Formless
and Nevow.... read more

0.6.5 is a maintenance release. We have kept the functionality fairly
stable while improving protocol support and overall stability.

- Configuration UI for mail-only and SIP-only versions of Quotient
- bugfixes
We have tested Quotient with Mozilla Mail 1.4, Outlook Express 6, Balsa

- Lots more tests: from 62 to 90!
- Vastly improved message browsing and viewing
- Implemented bsddb indexes
- Finer grained configuration control
- bugfixes
The big news in this release is SIP. Quotient can now provide simple voice
over IP services. With it you can set up a little phone switch for you and
your friends. Great for free calling and long-distance pairing. Quotient is
your proxy and registrar allowing you to make VOIP calls to other users
registered on the same Quotient. We've even included support for SIP NAT
traversal. In release 0.7 we will implement SIP features including digest
authentication and proxy-to-proxy calling.... read more
0.5.1 is an interim release adding some key features and fixing some bugs. A lot of hard work went into features that did not make the cut for our time-boxed release process. We'll release these great features, including SIP/VOIP support, at the end of September.
0.5.1 Highlights:
* improved message display
* whitelisting
* improved storage back-end
* bugfixes
As promised in the README for release 0.4, for 0.5 we have focused
on stability, tests, tools, IMAP Server, SMTP and more actions.
We have over 60 tests now, up from around a dozen. Many of the new tests
are functional test for the web ui. We will continue to expand our test
suite with a goal of having a few hundred tests by 1.0.
Quotient's stability was good in 0.4, and we have improved it by fixing
the most egregious bugs. We have been running Quotient for days and
are starting to push more and more messages through it.... read more
The most significant improvements in this release are in the UI.
- Improved registration
- flexible configuration
- calendar
- todo
- address book
- Bayesian spam training
- Actions (see below)
We continue to solidify our collection of clients and servers:
- Improved POP server and client
- Improved IMAP client
Another radical new feature is our Actioning capability, which when
combined with our extraction feature, makes for a killer feature!
If you receive a message from Sandy "call me later on my cell:
212-555-1212', our extractor finds the phone number and creates
an Action which allows you to add the number to Sandy's contact
info with one click. This is our favourite feature of this
release :-)... read more
There is lots of new stuff in this release! Here is a list of some new features:
- More complete POP3 - Delete now works.
- More complete IMAP (but still not done - sorry).
- Windows support.
- Basic identification of contacts and discovery of phone numbers.
- A 'dashboard' page, showing recent items.
- A simple 'calendar' of messages, showing a date-based view of message activity.
- A simple (non-interactive) SPAM filter.
Quotient is a conversation server. Currently this
means it can \receive mail over SMTP and POP3, and
serve it back out over a web interface and a POP
server.
Check back for more exciting stuff, including IMAP
and spam filtering, soon!

We are happy to announce the initial release of Divmod.
This is pre-alpha software, so caveat emptor.
You will need Lupy (http://sourceforge.net/projects/lupy/).
You will also need the latest version of Twisted (newer than the current release).
You can find this development version of Twisted at:
http://www.divmod.org/downloads/divmod/deps/
Enjoy,
