I've tried out version 1.1 of the DITA2Confluence tool, using Confluence 2.9 on Windows Vista. For those who are interested, I've written a step-by-step guide to getting it up and running, and importing the sample docs into Confluence. It's easy and fun :)

Then I uploaded uploaded an extract from the Encyclopaedia Britannica, using DITA files from Project Gutenberg content, to my Confluence site. Even easier and even more fun:

So I thought I'd post the links here, in case anyone finds them useful.

Awesome!:) Thanks very much for sharing.

Another fun sample to test with might be the DITA OT one (downloadable on sourceforge) - I think it's called the garage example.

I'm trying to use that site to get me started, but I do not have confluence.login.properties  file or  dita2wiki.guide.properties file.  I downloaded the latest binary zip and extracted those files, but the two files you describe in this how-to about editings do not exist in the ZIP file I downloaded.

      Any help?

For some reason, the Download button is not linked to the latest release, which is DITA2Confluence 1.2.1. Instead, it downloads 1.1 which does not implement the XML-based build system.

Try going here https://sourceforge.net/projects/dita2wiki/files/ and downloading the 1.2.1 version. You should be able to get up and running quickly from there!
