#5 Provide verbose output

If a check fails, Configure doesn't provide any way to
show how it failed because most output is redirected to
/dev/null. The should be an option to dump *all* output
to a log file which can be inspected. Currently you have
to fiddle with Configure manually to get any clue what
went wrong.
