opensuse 42.2 linux 4.4.36-8-default x86_64 argyllcms 1.8.4.1 DisplayCal 3.1.4 Spyder5 I had run a monitor calibration before the upgrade to 42.2, from 42.1. I decided to do so for the new version of opensuse because, why not. The calibration proceeded normally; installing the new profile did not. This appears to be a fault of "sudo" since neither DisplayCal not argyllcms versions have changed. Here is the complete log entry: 2017-01-15T22:54:22-0700 sma-station14l sudo[7264]: xxxx : PAM authentication error: Authentication token manipulation error ; TTY=pts/7 ; PWD=/home/xxxx ; USER=root ; COMMAND=list /usr/bin/dispwin -? Hi, I did a fresh install with Leap 42.2. Because of the AMD RX 460 graphics card in my computer I had to add repos for the latest kernel 4.8.x plus Mesa 13.x. DispayCAL complains: X11 extensions for screensaver not found (libXss.so) DisplayCAL is from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/color_management/openSUSE_Leap_42.2/ The error also turns up when using Zero-install Yast tells me than libXss1 version 1.2.2-23.1 is installed (from obs://build.opensuse.org/X11). What am I missing? cu Peter |

I'm happy to announce that DisplayCAL 3.2 has been released. This is a major update. Highlights: - Visual whitepoint editor. This allows visually adjusting the whitepoint on display devices that lack hardware controls as well as match several displays to one another (or a reference). - Menu overhaul. Menus are now better organized using categorized sub-menus and some menu items have been moved to more appropriate locations. - Better curves + matrix profiles as well as faster computation of XYZ LUT + matrix profiles. - Profile loader (Windows): Replaced “Open Windows color management settings...” pop-up menu item with own “Profile associations...” implementation. This should work better with multi-display configurations than what Windows has to offer. Full changelog: https://displaycal.net/#changelog-3.2 Enjoy! -- Florian Höch http://displaycal.net |

Like 3.1.7.1, this is a Windows-only maintenance release that fixes the possibility of the profile loader loosing user-defined exceptions under some circumstances, as well as re-introduces toggling "load calibration on login" from within the profile installation dialog actually affecting the profile loader. Furthermore, the application executables are now digitally signed. See the full changelog at https://displaycal.net/#changelog-3.1.7 for details. Enjoy! -- Florian Höch http://displaycal.net |

This release features much easier Argyll CMS instrument driver installation under Windows - no need to (temporarily) disable driver signature enforcement for Windows 8/8.1/10 anymore. Furthermore, the Windows profile loader now offers a way to define exceptions. Also included in this release are minor changes as well as fixes (for all platforms).
