Hi All, The project website is now running, using postnuke as the admin tool for maintaining the news items, etc. I noticed that Dieter has already put an add on sourceforge for a person to design a theme to plug into the site. I have transfered the news items across to the website as well. Although I plan to make this an automated system, whereby it transfers this information from the sf site to the main website once a day, or even more often. The direct URL for the site is http://bcheese.homeip.net/~tank/. I have also modified the links on the install to point to the sourceforge pages as well. I am about to configure my WebCVS install to allow web viewing of the CVS repository. Regards Brian. |

Hey, You don't need to worry about that last e-mail I sent cause I realized that you weren't using ssh to protect your cvs server. So yeah I can connect to your server and I can check stuff out of the cvs. One thing Brian would you be able to or want to host the project homepage until I have sourceforge access? I can get a tank.pc-mod.com sub-domain to use as well. Let me know and I'll give you the full details. Talk to you later. |

Hey, I am using WinCVS and my ping to your comp is 353ms avg. I can connect to the sourceforge server just not commit anything so I know my ssh works. I will be available in the channel if you wish to talk there. |

I have tried ssh'ing to a host at work and then back into my box, and it worked for me, although both machines are connected by the same ISP. What client are you using? What ping times are you getting to the following hosts? Please note, they are all pointing to the same physical box, over the same link. bcheese.homeip.net ultima.kicks-ass.org CPE-203-51-31-169.nsw.bigpond.net.au 203.51.31.169 Perhaps we could meet up in the IRC channel and discuss this problem whilst we look at it. Regards Brian. |

Hi All, I have the component resizing happening in the code, I also added minimum size restraints to the size of the form so that the look remained decent. This code has been checked back into the cvs on my server as version 1.3. Kind Regards Brian. |

Hi All, After discussions via email with Dieter, I have set up a temporary cvs repository on my internet machine. Don't worry I have a permanent connection. I have also imported into the cvs the contents of tank.zip listed as version 0.0.3. The account names for both ssh and cvs access to the server are the same as your sourceforge logins. The URL for my server is bcheese.homeip.net The CVSROOT is :pserver:use...@bc...:/home/tank_cvs The Module name is "tank" (without the quotes). to connect you will need to use ssh as per connectivity with sourceforge itself. If you have any problems connecting (which you shouldn't as I have already completed external connections into my server) or you need more information, please email me and I'll have a look into it. Kind Regards Brian Cheeseman. |

Hi, For those of you who don't already know my name is Dieter and I am the leader of this project. Currently I have no access to the cvs so please don't try to checkout anything. If you have fixed a bug or completed a feature let me know so that I can post it asap. When sourceforge finally gets around to allowing me to commit I will start using the cvs and will only post every few weeks. If you have any questions or want to talk please e-mail to the list. I hope we can have fun and get along. Now lets get down to business. For those that haven't already done it the latest source release is 0.0.3 and I suggest you download it. I know I may have changed it since then but it is the way it is until sourceforge smartens up and I can get cvs access. I am currently working on adding a toolbar (so don't nobody be doing that) . I have asked Brian to get work on a resizing issue. If anyone would like to work on a specific task please let me know (the list is on the project page). I guess I have said enough for one e-mail and I hope to hear from you guys soon. Dieter project page: sourceforge.net/projects/disk homepage: yank.ionichost.com soon to be disk.sourceforge.net |
