Dear DISCSU users, please find below a hint regarding directory usage under windows. Also, let me announce our DISCUS workshop at the University of Stony Brook, NY, USA May 21-24, details at: http://www.lks.physik.uni-erlangen.de/diffuse_workshop Kind regards Reinhard Neder -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [Discus-talk] problem with writing/reading files Date: Wed, 09 Mar 2011 12:14:54 +0100 From: neder <rei...@kr...> To: Volodymyr Svitlyk <sv...@es...> Dear Volodymyr, I am glad to hear that the problem could be solved that easily. I expect that in the previous run, the file was created as well, just in the default directory of discus at startup. This directory depends on the installation process. Incidentally, under windows you could type within discus: cd then drap the folder icon from a windows file browser into the discus window and relaese the mouse button there. Tihis will complete the "cd" = change directory" command and all following file accesses will happen within this directory.
