I have just installed dirssync-2.0.rc2.
When I save a *.sync file the resulting file includes a large amount of text - file size is now 5271 lines, size 181Kb.

Using the previous dirssync v1.3 the same *.sync file was only 8 lines, size 78 bytes.

Maybe it is a temporary method in rc2 for capturing data - I would be happy to provide files if you like.
