    Hello

    dirssync is wonderfull ! very simple, and really portable. Besides, there is one feature I would love to see in it : remote sync. This is essencially my use of dirssync.

    I always have to mount sftp or samba shares to sync files between my laptop and my desktop.

    Would it be possible just to use sftp to remote sync ?

      I've already got many messages to do remote sync.

      At the beginning, it was not in my intentions to do that, mainly because I use this tool on Windows AND on Linux; and because other tools do "remote sync".

      But, indeed, it's anoying to have 2 tools (dirssync and one for remote sync).
      Today, I'm thinking about to add plugin's facilities.  This will allow dirssync to have more functionalities and keep his portablility.
      This would allow us to have specific plugin's for windows and others for Linux (are there Mac users ???) adapted to the specific needs on those plateforms.

      If anyone can help me to put in place such plugin facility ... contact me.

      Dirsync is a very good program to update directories.

      One thing.
      In my school, I have to synchronize a directory in
      a student's PC with my portable PC. I have 6 student's projects.

      On a W2K network I have to enter the login and the password.

      Can You add this possibility to show a dialog windows with the login, password and the domain when you click on NEXT button for connexion.
