I have created a page where I have collected a number of videos of the Tsunami disaster, and "Dijjerized" them: http://dodo.freenetproject.org/~dijjer/tsunami/ Ian. -- Founder, The Freenet Project http://freenetproject.org/ CEO, Cematics Ltd http://cematics.com/ Personal Blog http://locut.us/~ian/blog/ |

Ok, I am back from my 4-day xmas exile in deepest darkest Ireland (where my only connection to the Internet was via a crappy 56k modem). My goal is to have a robust beta around mid-January, and my focus until then will be stabilising the features we already have, rather than adding anything new. I would be greatful if others could help me in this endeavour, even though I realise that adding new stuff is much more fun - there will be plenty of time for that later :-) One issue of particular concern to me is how many block requests seem to be failing. I plan to add more debugging stuff to FileTransferTracker to see why this might be happening. We have a preliminary mechanism up and running that is designed to make it as easy as possible for content distributors and their users to use Dijjer. This mechanism is described here: http://dijjer.org/index.php?page=howtouse If there are any content distributors out there that are keen to try out Dijjer, this is probably a good time (although remember that its still a pre-beta piece of software).
