These suggestions apply to the windows version (win7 x64).

Disable the clock when a full-screen app is running and do not change the clock position coordinates otherwise the clock will appear in the wrong screen position when the app exits. It's also annoying when the clock flickers while attempting to display itself.
For some reason the chime plugin does not play the built-in m4a sound clips
Have an option for the chime plugin to sound a gong/tone on the hour N times where N is the hour.

Other than that, I like the simplistic interface. Thanks for the free clock.

I didn't see this behaviour on my computers... Clock didn't appear above players or games. I thinked it is not possible for normal windows. ok, I will try to do something with it... As quick fix/hack I can suggest disable 'Always on top' option when you running fullscreen app.

seems like Windows doesn't have mp4 codec by default... this is my mistake. I will convert this sounds to mp3 or even wav. As quick solution, install any codec pack (like K-Lite Codec Pack). Clock will be able to play everything what Windows Media Player can play. Clock depends on its runtime.

this option already there. just select 1-12 times instead of Once for hour signal and you will get what you want. see attached screenshot

default sounds are converted now. try next version.
sorry for inconvenience and thank you for reporting this issue.
I had codecs in system when tested default sound playback...

done some workaround for 1st issue. not clock must not appear above full screen windows. try updated next version.
