Hello, I am testing the authorization features with the dictd server. My plan is to allow only one user allowed access to the server. From what I understood in the dictd man page, this dictd.conf configuration will allow me to do that: database web1913 { data "/usr/local/lib/dict-dbs/web1913.dict.dz" index "/usr/local/lib/dict-dbs/web1913.index" } access { deny * } user sullivti <secret> However, I recieve this error when starting the server: $ ./dictd.init start dictd starting. /usr/local/etc/dictd.conf:5: parse error, expecting `$' /usr/local/etc/dictd.conf:5: access { deny * } /usr/local/etc/dictd.conf:5: ^^^^^^ dictd (yyerror): parse error The third line is very confusing to me. Thank you to anyone who can give me a clue on what to do, and thank you for your help in the past. Timothy Sullivan |
