    staffie2001uk - 2021-01-06

    I had assumed that if I added IP addresses that I wanted to block in the [DNS_HOSTS] section:
    50.2.211.18=127.0.0.2
    Then my mailserver would receive 127.0.0.2 if the incoming servers IP was 50.2.211.18.
    However, I get Invalid Entry at start-up of Dual Server for each of the lines with IP to the left.

    Is it possible to do what I want to do?

    Thanks in advance,

    Colin.

    I figured it out. In case anyone else has this issue:

    The entry in the dns_host list or file needs to be in line with the request from the mailserver:
    18.211.2.50.rbl.staffie.net=127.0.0.2
    Where the IP address to the left has been reversed, "rbl.staffie.net" is the url of the blocklist server and 127.0.0.2 is the response that the mailserver will recognise as meaning it is a spam peddlar.

      Please use [Conditional_Forwarder] entry here

      [CONDITIONAL_FORWARDERS]
      18.211.2.50.rbl.staffie.net=127.0.0.2

      Thanks
