in the last release GDC 0.23, dmd 1.007 frontend was used. There was an important bug fix in one of the releases after that and now I am curious for the next GDC release. With that it should be possible to build SWT apps with gdc. This also implies, that it may be possible to build SWT on mac osx.
btw: I tried to build the svn version and got a problem:
bld/./gcc/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6)
in IRC i got the tip to build cc1d with -static, then it worked.

I've got the same problem, I just can't figure out exactly how to build cc1d explicitly with -static? I'd really love a tip on this.
