Many of my dupes involve photos, which I usually manage
using ACDSee Classic. It lets me keep long text
descriptions associated with each file. Rather than
reinventing the wheel, the folks at ACD used the old
descript.ion files from 4DOS to store the data.

I'm having trouble now, where I've gone through and
tagged all the images in one copy of my photos tree,
but not another copy. The jpg files are dupes, so DUFF
finds them, as it should. I'd like a filter for "has a
longer descript.ion entry", so I can save the described
versions and nuke the ones in the other tree.

There's plenty of info on descript.ion files on the
net, including a perl module.
