#51 EOL Character choice

I would like to see an option to choose the type of
character used to describe end of line.

For example I would like to choose is the file is saved
with linux/unix style EOL or Windows style.

This option would greatly simplify the development of
scripts intended for Linux web servers.

in version 2.0.8 ff you can save files with unix style EOL
if you set the fileformat to unix. you will not see any
changes why dev-php can work with both filetypes in the same
way. it's easy to convert the files with this feature.

I though I had seen that option somewhere in Dev-PHP, but I
could not find it. Is there any reason this feature was
removed from Dev-PHP 3?

This feature should really be available in Dev-PHP 3.
