Could you please be more specific in what you're asking?

        Yes.

We develop source code using single extension .class
Winch DEV-PHP 3,  the IDE don't highlight the code.
There aren't menu to change this.
There aren't option on options to change this.

Its more interesting that named extensions are saved in .INI, .CONF or registry.

Another feature what I missed that:
Storing a path/file for all file opened like PHPEDIT.
Its greateful to open files following same path of any file.

        Thanks

Interesting, I just now noticed that you can't override what syntax highlighting is being used for a specific file, as there was in Dev-PHP 1, and maybe 2.
If I remember correctly, if you went to View > Syntax Highlighting, you could choose what highlighting is used for you specific file. If possible, that would be a feature I would like to see make a comeback.

Assuming your .class files use PHP, MySQL, XML, Javascript, or HTML syntax, that feature SHOULD fix your problem.

Perhaps another feature that could be useful is adding an option to allow users to specify custom extensions and what parser is to be used.

Regarding your second and third statements:
could you be a little more specific, I think I understand what you're saying, but I don't want to assume anything.

I think your feature request is to allow users to specify a default directory to be used by the open/save dialog windows, instead of the default: "c:\program files\devphp\"

If I missed something please let me know...

The option to change the highlighting can be very usefull. For .class files, but also for .php files with much html in it.
I also used Dev-PHP 1.9.4 for editing .xul-files (the mozilla gui in xml-format), by changing the highlighter to xml.

      Assume this:

      There are 2 files opened:

      fileX.php    origined from H:\htdocs\
      fileY.class  origined from H:\classfiles\

The ide store only the last pathfile openned.

Now, the most interesting is the IDE (DEV-PHP) store a pathfile for all files openned.
When I need open a file, I can focus on IDE a fileX.php, click on open button, to open files from H:\htdocs\.
If a need open files from H:\classfiles\, i can put a focus on fileY.class, then click on open button.

This way its more dynamic to work with files.
I think that dev-php can be more powerfull, more usefull and I have many ideas, like to edit and store
      source code to/from databases.

Today here, we have a case tool designed on php to rapid develop applications for php using a framework developed from us, using a mvc-like tecnology, completly stored on database, but dont have any IDE can be used to edit source code from tables with the publish funtionality.

I think with this make me understand.
If this maybe strange please let me know...
      Sorry for my terrible english.

PS: can be a source code compiled with a devphi6 standard?

      Thanks.

The Highlighter menu (now called "Language") will be back in Alpha 3.

Script -> Language -> blah blah
