Update of /cvsroot/devil-linux/build/scripts/configuration/help In directory sc8-pr-cvs12.sourceforge.net:/tmp/cvs-serv26214/scripts/configuration/help Added Files: Tag: rel-1-2-patches libosip2.help siproxd.help Log Message: - added siproxd 0.5.14 (Heiko / Roland Pabel) - added support for pidfiles in /etc/init.d/functions for reloadproc, killproc and statusproc (Heiko / Roland Pabel) - introduced a build configuration option to enable magic sysrq in the kernel (Heiko / Roland Pabel) --- NEW FILE: libosip2.help --- CONFIG_LIBOSIP2 oSIP is an implementation of SIP. SIP stands for the Session Initiation Protocol and is described by the rfc3261 (wich deprecates rfc2543). This library aims to provide multimedia and telecom software developers an easy and powerful interface to initiate and control SIP based sessions in their applications. SIP is a open standard replacement from IETF for H323. --- NEW FILE: siproxd.help --- CONFIG_SIPROXD Siproxd - a masquerading SIP proxy Siproxd is a proxy/masquerading daemon for the SIP protocol. It handles registrations of SIP clients on a private IP network and performs rewriting of the SIP message bodies to make SIP connections possible via an masquerading firewall. It allows SIP clients (like kphone, linphone) to work behind an IP masquerading firewall or router. SIP (Session Initiation Protocol, RFC3261) is used by Softphones (Voice over IP) to initiate communication. By itself, SIP does not work via masquerading firewalls as the transfered data contains IP addresses and port numbers. |
