OK, I started a mrproper earlier (limited selection on software), and tried it when I got home from the LUG meeting. Everything is current on this PC because I ran another cvs update just now, and there were no new updates to be found. I tried the same thing, deleted the files from my floppy and booted the ISO in VMware. It tried to copy the files to floppy, but failed and rebooted. So, let me ask you again, did you try booting yours with a _BLANK_ floppy? Or did you _manually_ copy new files to a floppy? So, I then manually copied the files to my floppy and booted VMware again. This time it booted up without warning to a login prompt! :-) The only problem I see right now is the code that copies the default configs to a blank media. (but I haven't looked very hard either ;) - BS |
