Checked in.  It now reads:

CONFIG_X86_UP_APIC=y
# CONFIG_X86_UP_IOAPIC is not set
# CONFIG_X86_LOCAL_APIC is not set
# CONFIG_X86_IO_APIC is not set

I think we'll be OK with UP_APIC without UP_IOAPIC.
I'll run a mrproper & new compile overnight to make sure.
