All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/cyrussasl/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version corrects a number of DIGEST-MD5 interoperability issues, as well as corrects some potential buffer overflows. It is recommended that all sites using a SASLv2 release upgrade to this version. Project description: The Cyrus SASL library is a generic library for easy integration of secure network authentication to any client or server application. It supports authentication via standard plaintext methods as well as CRAM-MD5 and DIGEST-MD5 shared secret methods and KERBEROS_V4 and GSSAPI Kerberos methods. The SASL protocol framework is used by SMTP, IMAP, ACAP, LDAP, and other standard protocols. If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page.
