This email is to inform you of release '3.0.5' of 'procps' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/procps/ The changes in this release are as follows: The man pages have been cleaned up a bit. The vmstat bi and bo columns were mixed up on Linux 2.5.xx. The pgrep and pkill commands now have -o for selecting the oldest matching process. Super-wide displays won't crash top anymore. RPM generation should work better. The code has been cleaned up. Things ought to run a bit faster, but this hasn't been verified. Project description: procps is a package of utilities which report on the state of the system, including the states of running processes, amount of memory available and currently-logged-in users.
