This email is to inform you of release '1.1.11-20020917' of 'Postfix' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/postfix/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version speeds up regexp table lookups by optimizing for the actual $number substitutions that are found in the replacement string, and by enclosing blocks of rules inside `IF /pattern/' and `ENDIF'. The handling of DNS lookup errors in permit_mx_backup, reject_unknown_hostname, reject_unknown_sender_domain, and reject_unknown_recipient_domain have been delayed. The "smtpd_data_restrictions = reject_unauth_pipelining" setting now rejects mail from SMTP clients that send message content before the SMTP DATA command has been replied to. Project description: Postfix is an attempt to provide an alternative to the widely-used Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer, and hopefully secure, while at the same time being sendmail compatible enough to not upset your users. If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page.
