this is excellent! Thank you for the full reference.

We had tried the http://vpn.ebootis.de/ utility earlier, and found that 
it was in German. Translation was not difficult (for the mmc), but is it 
anything more that the usual ipsec mmc with some extensions, or does it 
have a seperate client app, etc?
