This email is to inform you of release '3.70' of 'WvStreams' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/wvstreams/ The changes in this release are as follows: Some bugs that caused numerous bits of flakiness in programs compiled with this library have been fixed. Specifically, WvPipe and WvStrings now do sane things when they fail. Project description: WvStreams is a library set composed of a number of parts. Among them are WvIPStreams (WvTCPStream and WvUDPStream), WvStrings (yet another C++ String class), WvCrypto Streams (including an easy way to add SSL support to applications), WvConf (a configuration file handler), WvLog (nice, simple handling of log files), and a whole host of other goodness. These are the base classes used to build programs such as the ever popular WvDial, TunnelVision, FastForward, KWvDial, and retchmail. If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page. You'll be presented with a list of projects you're subscribed to in the right column, which you may cancel by highlighting the project in question and clicking the 'delete' button. Sincerely, freshmeat.net |
