Hi girls (any?) and boys! How do we, as developers, update our local sources from e.g. ftp://ftp.de.devil-linux.org/src/0.5beta/ in the build system at /build/src? Somehow I could think of a file in CVS that lists all added and deleted sources, including the online source (e.g. ftp://ftp.de.devil-linux.org/src/0.5beta/) So after a "cvs update" I'd call this script, let's name it src-update, which will take care of getting the latest source files and removing the corresponding old ones. It has to remove the corresponding compile tree under /build/tmp, too. Heiko I know for you it's easy - you've got the latest sources anyway :) PS: Today I'm to lacy, so I just got wget to download the whole directory, but I think that's not the real method. -- MfG / Regards Friedrich Lobenstock |
