Bugs item #483798, was opened at 2001-11-20 06:31 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410643&aid=483798&group_id=34096 Category: Package Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 7 Submitted By: Heiko Zuerker (smiley73) >Assigned to: Heiko Zuerker (smiley73) Summary: PPPoE problem Initial Comment: In /usr/sbin/adsl-connect the following lines appear: PPPD=NOTFOUND SETSID=/usr/bin/setsid I find no /usr/bin/setsid on the ramdisk (after everything is extracted and running). I don't understand what PPPD=NOTFOUND is supposed to do. I am unable to get adsl-start to work and it appears to die when the following lines are invoked later in the script: $SETSID $PPPD pty "$PPPOE_CMD -D $DEBUG-0" \ $PPP_STD_OPTIONS \ $PPPD_SYNC \ debug >> $DEBUG 2>&1 I am trying to install this at a remote site which I don't visit very often so it is difficult to debug. I don't have any experience with PPPOE yet so I can't offer any solutions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410643&aid=483798&group_id=34096 |
