I just checked the server before i answered and it worked.

here are my log from 20s before:

[root@notebook ~/man]# cvs -z3
-d:pserver:ano...@de...:/cvsroot/devil-linux co build

U build/md5sum.lst

Maybe something with your network is wrong?!?
