So I'm running out of time to get my firewall working, (please see earlier threads referencing telnet clients etc...) I decided to try installing the current release of DL. Unfortunately, I seem to run into a snag I can't seem to get around. When I run the install-on-usb script, I choose syslinux, cramfs and set up a usb drive with 2 FAT16 (type 06) just as it asks for. Right after mkdosfs is called, the script tries to call: mount -t vfat .... Which fails with the error: mount: unknown filesystem type `msdos` It is important to note that if I run this command outside of the script, it works just fine. I've formatted the drive , zero'd the drive with dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda and created the partitions with cfdisk and fdisk with no improvement. Any suggestions? thanks, |
