OK the problem is caused by a trick we were using, in order to get the original boot device umounted. This is a little hard, since we have the iso file (which resides on this partition) via losetup configured and mounted. If anybody has a better idea on how to deal with this, let me know. Anyway, here's the solution (or better workaround): The partition does not get umounted anymore, it only gets moved to /var/adm/boot . You can update the files in there by remounting it: mount -o remount,rw /var/adm/boot Not sure if you're using the update feature of DL: just place the iso file as bootcd.iso.new next to the old one and it will get updated on the next boot. But you still have to go through the update process. -- Regards Heiko Zuerker http://www.devil-linux.org |
