[Devil-Linux-discuss] compatible gigabit NIC?

Hi Everybody -

I have searched the archives of this list and done some other searches 
and can't find a clear answer:  what gigabit NICs work well with 
devil-linux?

I have a related question:  can a devil-linux gateway run two identical 
NICs or must they be different brands or models (I ran into trouble with 
this using Smoothwall - it saw two 3com 3c905b cards as one NIC only and 
would not let me configure them separately)?

If anyone can recommend cards or direct me to good information I will be 
very grateful!
