Feature Requests item #920331, was opened at 2004-03-21 03:12 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410646&aid=920331&group_id=34096 Category: Base System Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Diego Torres (rapid2k1) Assigned to: Diego Torres (rapid2k1) Summary: kernel module to enable powersaving on via c3 cpus Initial Comment: The VIA C3 processor includes a powersaving feature whereby the CPU clock multiplier may be changed while the CPU is operating. VIA calls this feature "longhaul"(tm). The longhaul driver included with the 2.4 kernel does not work on the most recent VIA C3 CPUs. So I (Andrew) wrote my own. You can download it here. http://www3.sympatico.ca/howlettfamily/epia/longhaul.h tml http://www3.sympatico.ca/howlettfamily/epia/longhaul- 1.2.tar.gz ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410646&aid=920331&group_id=34096 |
