This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.1.99-test3' of 'PCI Utilities' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/pciutils/ The changes in this release are as follows: This is an alpha release of the upcoming version 2.2.0 of the PCI library and related utilities. New features include support for multiple PCI domains, a Linux sysfs interface, ports to GNU Hurd, Solaris/x86, and newer versions of FreeBSD, and other minor but lovely things. Many dusty corners of the code have been cleaned, debugged, and optimized. Project description: The PCI Utilities package contains various utilities dealing with the PCI bus, and also a library for portable access to PCI configuration registers. It includes `lspci' for listing all PCI devices (very useful for debugging of both kernel and device drivers) and `setpci' for manual configuration of PCI devices.
