 fi
				     

i've found this on some script files... is it ok? sounds strange...
for me this looks better:

 if [ "$CONFIG_GCC_STACK_PROTECTOR" != "y" ]; then
     FLAGS="CFLAGS_KERNEL=-fno-stack-protector"
 fi
