Enable it and check the memory usage. > >Sagator uses a CHROOT which actually eats up RAM. I can't tell you how >muchl but when you remind me on the weekend, then I can check on my server. I don't think it is the CHROOT jail. Look at the following memory numbers IPTables+DHCP+Postfix Memory: Total Used Free Shared Buffers Cached Mem: 61112 57556 3556 0 1080 46672 +ClamAV Memory: Total Used Free Shared Buffers Cached Mem: 61112 59048 2064 0 788 43084 +ClamAV+SAGATOR Memory: Total Used Free Shared Buffers Cached Mem: 61112 57016 4096 0 644 43008 Note: Kernel's Out of Memory process kill had already started killing processes by this point. In fact, when I went to shutdown SAGATOR I got an error that it was not running and a check of the system logs showed that the out of memory process killer had killed it! So this is basically after the CHROOT jail. So it doesn't appear to be the chroot jail. Dean Nedelman TimeLord Consulting |
