I, and probably all other developers, rather tell you how to make
a patch than to do some typing according to your instructions.
Ok, here we go:
* copy the unchanged script to SCRIPTNAME.old
* make your changes
* cd /..../build/
* diff -u subdir/SCRIPT.old subdir/SCRIPT > outfile
* kwrite outfile
* copy and paste the whole content to a mail to devil-linux-developer
don't forget to set the subject to "[PATCH] ...."
and add some comments before the patch
PS: Set you mailclient to not break long line to not destroy the patch
if it has long lines.

Sometimes after updating you local sources, a "make mrproper" is necessary, because too much or some critical components changed. > And what about the patch ?
