I noticed that Python has modules under: /build/tmp/Python-install/usr/lib/python2.3 and /build/tmp/Python-2.3.3/Lib WHat is the correct location? I need to add extra modules to Python. Thank you, -- Peter Frischknecht <pe...@em...> Empowering Solutions, Inc. |

It still breaks, but it looks much better now, as just an iptables extension breaks during compile. To finish the compile: pushd tmp/linux-2.4.25 patch -R --verbose -p1 < ../patch-o-matic-20040409/base/dstlimit.patch patch -R --verbose -p1 < ../patch-o-matic-20040409/base/osf.patch rm ./include/linux/netfilter_ipv4/ipt_osf.h # clean up - has size 0 rm ./net/ipv4/netfilter/ipt_osf.c # clean up - has size 0 make clean popd rm -f tmp/.done_build_linux tmp/.done_build_iptables rm -fr tmp/iptables-1.2.9-* rm -fr src/iptables-1.2.9-* pushd src wget ftp://ftp.fl.priv.at/pub/devil-linux/testing/iptables-1.2.9-20040409-patched-by-fl.tar.bz2 popd tar -C tmp -xjf src/iptables-1.2.9-20040409-patched-by-fl.tar.bz2 and continue the build with make build If you've already done a "make mrproper" then you have to run "cvs update" and get the patches iptables before running "make build" again. -- MfG / Regards Friedrich Lobenstock ____________________________________________________________________ Friedrich Lobenstock Linux Services Lobenstock URL: http://www.lsl.at/ Email: fl...@fl... ____________________________________________________________________ |

Yes, I have succeeded in applying changes the necessary source files to support the following features: - ESFQ = enhanced Stochastic Fairness Queue - IMQ = Imtermediate Fairness Queue - IPP2P = iptables modules that automatically recognizes most networks of P2P traffic IMQ was already partially implemented in the kernel, but there were patches missing from iptables and iproute2. If there is interest by any other members, I will be submitting these patches in the next few days. Within the next week, I will be submitting patches for perl modules that allow for xml-rpc and SOAP server implementations. Again, interest/feedback is welcome. -- Peter Frischknecht <pe...@em...> Empowering Solutions, Inc. |

Feature Requests item #861313, was opened at 2003-12-16 23:23 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by friedl You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410646&aid=861313&group_id=34096 Category: Configuration / Scripts >Group: v1.1.x >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Heiko Zuerker (smiley73) >Assigned to: Heiko Zuerker (smiley73) Summary: ifcfg support for classless subnet masks Initial Comment: mail from one of our users: The routing setup expects dotted quad notation for netmasks, All of our documentation and other stuff is in CIDR, (classless), notation like /20 or /22 etc. for netmasks. The /etc/init.d/network script doesn't accept these but the route command does, like so: route add net 10.1.1.0/22 gw 192.168.1.254 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Friedrich Lobenstock (friedl) Date: 2004-04-10 03:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=38090 # cvs log -r1.29 config/etc/init.d/network | grep -A10 "description:" description: ---------------------------- revision 1.29 date: 2004/03/13 01:11:12; author: smiley73; state: Exp; lines: +9 -4 added support for cidr netmasks to ifcfg- files (Heiko / Cameron Miller) ============================================================================= ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410646&aid=861313&group_id=34096 |
