Run it right off CD... The only thing you need to do is to make sure you mount the harddisk partition you want to run the LFS on with 'dev' option, as it defaults to 'nodev' and will give you strange errors about "can't write/dev/null" during the build. will setup a suse 9.1 tomorrow to try again. My project is to make a PBX with asterisk in minit-itx boxes. We want to sell this to companies here :) For larger installs we use whitebox on Opterons but or the mini-itx'es I want to use devil-linux on a usb pen :) cheers Michael On Tue, 2004-08-31 at 02:34, Heiko Zuerker wrote: > Michael Bielicki wrote: > > >On Fri, 2004-08-27 at 22:46, Heiko Zuerker wrote: > > > > > >>Michael Bielicki wrote: > >> > >> > >> > >>>Whiteboxlinux (RHAS 3.0 clone) > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>Not sure about it, does it have any kind of special kernel level > >>security checks? > >> > >> > >Probably.
