Hi Just wondering if there is any updated documentation on how to develop for Devil Linux? The stuff on the web appears out of date... I'm trying to add some new packages and things just don't look the same - no empty links for one thing, etc. Also should I be using the latest CVS version or should I stick to the current release? Thanks Martin |

This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.5.0' of 'OpenVPN' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/openvpn/ The changes in this release are as follows: This long-awaited major release adds Win2000/XP support, tunnel-over-TCP or HTTP support, and better MTU options to work around problems with PMTU discovery or IP fragmentation. Project description: OpenVPN is a robust and highly configurable VPN (Virtual Private Network) daemon which can be used to securely link two or more private networks using an encrypted tunnel over the Internet. OpenVPN's principal strengths include wide cross-platform portability, excellent stability, support for dynamic IP addresses and NAT, adaptive link compression, single TCP/UDP port usage, a modular design that offloads most crypto tasks to the OpenSSL library, and relatively easy installation that in most cases doesn't require a special kernel module. Then it can be deleted, because the locale-archive is really useful thing. i'll delete them on the scripts after the locale-archive is built. -- -- gnupg keyfingerprint -- 48AF 5BF9 8F54 2966 64CC 2327 7CD0 DD91 B09D 5799 -- Use of a keyboard or mouse may be linked to serious injuries or disorders. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/syslinux/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version adds a "timeoutcmd" option, to allow timeout and "just Enter" to be different actions, and fixes bugs related to the handling of the command line in COMBOOT/COM32 images. Project description: SYSLINUX is a collection of boot loaders for the Linux operating system which operates off MS-DOS floppies, network servers using PXE firmware, or from CD-ROMs. It is intended to simplify first-time installation of Linux, rescue disks, and other uses for boot floppies. A SYSLINUX floppy can be manipulated using standard MS-DOS (or any other OS that can access an MS-DOS filesystem) tools once it has been created; and requires only a very small DOS or Linux program to create in the first place. This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.07' of 'Syslinux' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/syslinux/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version fixes a number of bugs, and adds the "ipappend 2" command to specify the hardware address of the booting interface in PXELINUX. It also includes MEMDISK, a tool to boot legacy operating systems from nontraditional media like PXE or CD-ROM. I could down load it and take a look - but be warned: I do not have a Devil-Linux development environment - I strictly download the ISO's. So, if this program needs anything compiled - I wouldn't be the person to check it out. Dean |
