Hi Attached is the DL scripts for l2tpd as well as patches for the downloadable version. With l2tpd, Windows clients can connect natively over ipsec to DL. Please check out the scripts and if acceptable, do the magic and add them to DL. The l2tpd package can be obtained from http://www.l2tpd.org/downloads/l2tpd-0.69.tar.gz The attached l2tpd-patches.tgz must also be placed in the build/src directory. This is a collection of patches found from the l2tpd mailing list (http://www.mail-archive.com/l2t...@l2.../msg00766.html) Please let me know if there are any problems. Thanks Martin |

Sure. I don't see a problem doing the squid fix, but I'll have to look into the gcc issue further. No promises on time though, as I'm going on vacation for the next month and will have limited access. Martin |

I.e. for squid there must be a IF statement added, which adds LDAP support only when LDAP is selected. GCC must also work without the SSP selected. It would be great if you could help us out there and fix it. Heiko |

Hi How does DL handle package dependencies? I found that the build will fail when certain packages are missing dependencies - for example: squid fails if LDAP is not selected, gcc fails if the gcc Stack Smashing Protector is not selected, etc. How is this or should this be resolved? Thanks Martin |

The smartmontools package contains two utility programs (smartctl and smartd) to control and monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (S.M.A.R.T.) built into most modern ATA and SCSI hard disks. It is derived from the smartsuite package, and includes support for ATA/ATAPI-5 disks. The smartmontools package contains two utility programs (smartctl and smartd) to control and monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (SMART) built into most modern ATA and SCSI hard disks. In many cases, these utilities will provide advanced warning of disk degradation and failure. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410646&aid=865588&group_id=34096 |
