Hi, I'm writing the scripts for apcupsd because I got one yesterday. apcupsd contains some cgi's which are normally copied to /etc/apcupsd/cgi/ . They are roughly 600KB in size and bzip2'd still 270 KB. IMHO it would be a waste of space to put them on a floppy, since they aren't scripts and not meant to be customized. What would be a good place? /usr/libexec/apcupsd ? Roland -- ICQ UIN 49339118 Linux Counter #88774 GPG-Key 1024D/59C6AFA6 2003-02-07 Roland Pabel <ro...@pa...> |

The error must happen when the isolinux.cfg gets "converted" to syslinux.cfg in the install-on-usb script. I don't have a latest build available at the moment, so I can't test it. Heiko |

In the past, an error like this one was usually caused by either ACPI (IRQ stuff) or FB errors... I don't know what kind of cpu the via-c3 exactly is, perhaps it's because the Processor type is now 586 per default? I'd start by disabling FB and booting with acpi=off And try booting with a CD or in vmware (to verify it's not the iso image) Roland -- ICQ UIN 49339118 Linux Counter #88774 GPG-Key 1024D/59C6AFA6 2003-02-07 Roland Pabel <ro...@pa...> |

can someone told me what is the version of md5sum used and where to find it?
I'm using the one from the coreutils on debian unstable, and the arguments expected differs from the one the update_src is using:
$ md5sum -V
md5sum: invalid option -- V
usage: md5sum [-bv] [-c [file]] | [file...]
Generates or checks MD5 Message Digests
-c check message digests (default is generate)
-v verbose, print file names when checking
-b read files in binary mode
The input for -c should be the list of message digests and file names
that is printed on stdout by this program when it generates digests.
# cat update_src | grep md5s
md5sum --check md5sum.lst | grep -v ": OK"
thxs! :)

I've been sitting on this minor patch for ages, but maybe it should be included in the 1.0.5 release... It fixes a build failure in squid if LDAP has not been selected. Martin |
